Get the best price!

One of the most frequently asked questions when hiring our services, is the fee for the design work. The customer seeks the best quality at the best price, in order to be competitive.

Although quality services around the world tend to be priced accordingly, there are ways to make the most of the designer’s time.

The way to reduce the prices requires understanding what it means to commission a 3d design. In jewellery, as well as in so many other activities, there is a very high range of possibilities or configurations, therefore, it is the customer who has in his hands the key to the best possible use of the design services.

How?

To start with:  never is “too much” information.

In our experience, except in the few cases of professionals of the sector who provide very precise technical drawings, there is a majority of customers that seem to forget that a ring has many design variables which combined creates the millions of models found out there in the market, variables ranging from the most basic things like type of ring, shape, metal to be used, desired weight, sizes, thicknesses of various parts, styles, formats, general thicknesses, available manufacturing technology, types of textures, and eventual enamel or materials to be applied to each detail that you want to have present in the final design.

The more information you send us, the fastest we can arrive to the final approved model, and hence, the lower the fees.

One and the same 3d design can cost up to 3 times more when you fail to provide from the very beginning the information needed. In those cases the designer is forced to engage in a series of time-demanding conversations to find out the missing technical details, and this increases the amount of hours required to arrive to the final, approved model.

So by providing detailed, accurate and consistent information you reduce the amount of hours of work needed to achieve the 3d model and hence you reduce the costs.

Sometimes the client does not have a way to provide a technical drawing with all the measures for the piece, but there are still ways to provide information by means of photos, examples and comments that guide the designer to the jewel that the client has in mind.

In short, the more elaborate and precise the request from the client is from the beginning, the more likely for the customer to get a low price.
